Life Groups are an essential part of our church, as they provide a place where deeper fellowship and better support for one another can take place. Considering that the early church worshipped in large settings in the synagogues as well as in homes, we unite together similarly in order to be in deeper fellowship with God and one-another. God has reconciled us not only to Himself but also to each other. This "each other" is called His Church. Thus, we intentionally strive toward community through men's/women's groups.

Within this young adult group also exist "Dioko" a term derived from Hebrew 12:1-3. In keeping with the spiritual health and wellness our group also works toward our physical health and wellness as we run the race of endurance. Join us on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays for scheduled runs for your body, mind and soul!
We believe the church is the family of God called to live on mission to advance His Kingdom. Because we are God's children through Jesus, we are to live as brothers and sisters. The church is not a building, place, or program, but God's people.
With that mindset we at St. John's work to minister to others near and far. One of our activities that we offer through SJ includes:
Plarn - Tuesday Morning - 9:00-12:00
Plastic Bags!! It's a love/hate relationship! Well, Melanie Herge, Evelyn Dahlke and Karen Hassell are helping the love part right along. Join them every Tuesday morning as they cut, crochet and turn plastic bags into sleeping mats. These mats are distributed to those in Kenya through Kenya relief to those who have nothing but the ground as a bed. This is great way to connect, get to know others and make friends with your church family.
We also have a "Blessings and Outreach Team" that is always looking for others to join up in making a difference in the lives of others. This team does everything from cooking for community helpers to lawn care for the elderly. Join us for missions and fellowship. For more information about any of our outreach activities contact Karen Hassell @ karen.hassell@ sjepc.com

“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”
